OUTSIDE LANDS

I have been wanting to paint this festival for several years as I watched some of my favorite artists take part in it.

Outside Lands is located in the beautiful location of Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, so I've felt drawn to create something quintessentially San Francisco for the festival. I made this 20x8' mural on the Saturday of the event - in just about 7 hours - with the help of my niece and assistant Indra. The panels will now be added to the large collection of others from past years that line the outer wall of the festival creating a backdrop of murals around the site. Bonus to see a few great musical acts too!
